Self-knowledge therapy «Zhurek - uni»

On November 30, 2022 in the moral, spiritual and socio-pedagogical directions of the Meirim club under the guidance of associate Professor Shirinbayeva G.K. 3rd-year volunteer students of the specialty «6b01801-Social pedagogy and self-knowledge», Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, N.Zhuma, A.Murzagalieva, U.Enkebayeva, R.Yerkinov conducted self-knowledge therapy «Zhurek - uni» for people with disabilities of the social rehabilitation center «YERZI» in Almaty.

The socio-therapeutic activity of volunteer students is aimed at social development, contributing to the identification of hidden or unrealized opportunities and abilities of participants in order to further optimize their life activities.

The students used self-knowledge therapy, which is the participant`s own activity of self-knowledge, self-analysis and self-assessment. It includes such methods and processes as «Positive attitude (concentration on the infinity of the starry sky)»; Self-knowledge exercise; «What kind of person am I?»; test «Know yourself by the picture!»; Relaxation «Sunny Meadow»; group singing. The applied methods were used to identify individual psychological «barriers», to create the desired image of the «I».

In the final reflection, the reflection of the participants of the event was revealed in the process of relieving the feeling of tension and anxiety of people with disabilities through the practice of sharing their thoughts that remained in the depths of their hearts.
