Vocational guidance work with schoolchildren

On December 21, 2022 professors of Biology Department of the Institute of Natural History and Geography Kunakbaev A.S. and Babashev A.M., associate professor Tatarinova G.Sh., senior teachers Tashenova G.K. and Otarova N.I., teacher Zh.M. Zharylkasynova conducted career guidance work in final classes of KSU "Sidyk Ablanov high school", located in Bayzak district of Zhambyl region.

The meeting was attended by high school students, form masters, representatives of school administration. The pupils of 10th and 11th classes were provided with exhaustive information about Abai KazNPU, its institutes, faculties, specialities, on which the training in the oldest university of the country is conducted. Also high school students were acquainted with wide possibilities of the further education in a magistracy and doctoral studies of university after the termination of the bachelor`s degree.

Particular attention was paid to the information on the Institute of Natural sciences and Geography. The meeting was accompanied by a presentation and video clips. The students` questions were answered on the principles of credit technology, the order of payment at the paid department, the possibilities of obtaining a study grant, as well as studying at foreign universities in the framework of academic mobility.
