Meeting with students of pedagogical classes

On December 22, 2022 in Abai KazNPU a meeting with students of pedagogical classes on the semiannual report of the project «Pedagogical Class» was held.

The event was attended by the author of the project idea, Rector Darkhan Bilyalov, Vice Rector for Social Development Shyngys Nurlanov, Director of the Academic Affairs Department Khairulla Zhanbekov, principal of grammar school #81 Nurgali Turymbetov and principal of the Republican Specialized Boarding School Erzhan Omirkhanov, project manager, Professor Bauyrzhan Saydakhmetov, representatives of specialized physical and mathematical boarding lyceum named after Sh. Smagulov and general education school № 154 named after I. K. Mandoka (50 students).

Darkhan Bilyalov congratulated future teachers and shared the achievements of the country`s first higher education institution. The rector noted that during almost 95 years the university with deep history is a leader in the field of pedagogy in international and national rankings, the university taught such great persons as Ahmet Baitursynov, Saken Seifullin, Khalel Dosmukhamedov, Ilyas Kabylov, Baimen Almanov, Temirbek Zhurgenov. The oldest university in Kazakhstan launched interesting and useful projects on formation of modern pedagogical staff through introduction of new technologies in education, including strengthening of relations with school, training of tutors, creation of digital volunteers and Honors College, opening of pedagogical classes.

During the event, students from pedagogical classes in 4 schools presented their projects, discussed the teacher`s concept, shared their impressions about the pedagogical classroom and expressed their opinion about the pedagogical profession. Using the skills they acquired during the half year, they analysed the concepts of ikigai, reflection, feedback and teacher`s style to define the image of modern teachers in new trends and to feel it in themselves. The future teachers expressed their gratitude to the university administration and the project leader Bauyrzhan Saidakhmetov.

On the projects of teams from 4 schools Darkhan Bilyalov, Shyngys Nurlanov, Yerzhan Omirkhanov and Nurgali Turymbetov expressed their opinions, noting that the future teachers are the best result of the «Pedagogical Class» project and expressed confidence in its future.
