Talapker-2023: online conference «Profession - the path to the future»

As part of career guidance and implementation of the project «Talapker-2023» senior lecturers of the Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology J.M. Elemesova, G.K. Satbay, A.M. Sebdairova held on December 20-21, 2022 an online conference «Prosperity - bolashakkа bastar zhol» for 11 classes on the platform ZOOM.

Directors of school named after Y. Altynsarin of Kurmangazy district of Atyrau region A.T. Kamenova, school named after Y. Altynsarin of Irgiz district of Aktobe region A.K. Aldanov and school named after Telzhan Shonanuly of the same region V.M. Mashina, school named after M. Tolegenov of Aktobe region R.T. Shaikayakov participated in the event. Pupils of the 11 classes of these schools were provided with general information about Abai KazNPU and detailed information about the specialties of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation in the structure of the university, and for a wider familiarization appropriate presentations and video recordings were shown.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology at Abai KazNPU Korkabayeva N.N., Deputy Director for Educational Work A.U. Abdyhalakov, Associate Professor E.M. Moldasanov and senior lecturers N.R. Shengelbaeva, K.T. Duisenova and E.J. Kenseitova. Their information was given in full and in detail.

Presentations on the position of the university in the world market and international relations with foreign universities increased the interest of students. The forum participants gave comprehensive answers to their questions, such as translation, oriental and foreign languages, general social benefits and opportunities to win UNT grants and the problems of studying and living in the country`s biggest city.

Heads of secondary education institutions in the two regions of Kazakhstan stated that there were enough school leavers willing to study at Abai KazNPU and concluded that the information received was worth sharing with other general education schools in the country.
