Author`s course on ecology

From December 12 to December 23 , 2022 Head of the Office of Scientific and Technological Development, STC and the Green Bridge Institute of the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects, Chairman of the Ecology Department at the National Academy of Engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Economics, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leading speaker on sustainable development issues Medieva Gulbazar Akylovna conducted an author`s course on «Environmental policy in the world and in Kazakhstan: fundamentals and prospects» and master classes on preparation of documentation in international scientific projects for teachers, doctoral and master`s students of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU.

The lectures discussed topical issues of transition to a green economy; fundamentals of environmental policy; international strategies and economic policy documents; circular economy; development of renewable energy sources; climate change and combating it at the international level; climate change in Kazakhstan, its causes and methods of regulation; the best available techniques and their implementation, as well as strategies of low-carbon development in the world and Kazakhstan.
