Social Media Skills Intensive started

On January 26, 2023 in Abai KazNPU, "SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS" intensive was launched with the aim of encouraging young people to create quality content in social media, providing an opportunity to fully master modern technology.

The event was opened by the rector of the university, Darkhan Bilyalov, who wished the students good luck, new knowledge and creative skills.

The first day of the intensive, which will last two days, began with a master class in public speaking, to introduce students to this art and teach them how to convey information through vocal rhythm. This course was led by Nurlan Saginayev, the author of Sahna Tili, a theatre and cinema actor. In addition, in order to enhance students`acting skills and to create opportunities for their public recognition, a master class was given by special theatre pedagogue Ashim Akhmetov.

The second day of SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS Intensive will continue with a lecture on the basics of mobilography and formation of national consciousness and values.

At the end of the event its participants will conduct a project work in the form of a 1.5-2 minute video clip. Creative works will be evaluated in the form of a competition and cash prizes will be awarded. First place winner will receive 100,000 tenge, second place winner will receive 75,000 tenge and third place winner will receive 50,000 tenge.

The videos will be judged by a special commission made up of university professors.
