Career guidance work among medical college students

Medical College is a secondary specialized educational institution that trains specialists of several profiles to work in the ambulance, in hospitals, hospitals, polyclinics and private clinics. Basically, the training of professionals is focused on practice and work. One of the key needs of the development of medicine is the need to introduce psychological support of the treatment process, in this process an important role is played by a psychologist. The work of a psychologist is to maintain and restore mental and somatic health, he works to identify conditions that hinder the harmonious development of the patient`s personality or complicate it.

To this end, on February 20, 2023, the teacher of the Department of General and Applied Psychology of Abai KazNPU Tusubekovа  Kunslu Kadyrkulovna and undergraduates of the specialty «7M03105 - Psychology» Altynai Baybalayeva, Ayazhan Kulsharipova, Vyacheslav Shpadyrev, under the guidance of the psychologist of the medical college «Ayazhan» Umbetalieva Aigerim Bolatovna, conducted career guidance work with students of the medical college «Ayazhan» in order to familiarize the profession a medical psychologist. Kunsulu Tusubekova, together with undergraduates of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, conducted psychological techniques and trainings among college students in order to increase the interest of medical college students, involve them in the specialty «Psychology», individual work was also carried out among students, psychological counseling was carried out.
