"Action Research" - the basis of the teacher`s research activity

On March 13, 2023, was conducted the university scientific-methodological seminar on the theme: "The increase of the university teachers` research activity on the basis of introduction in the professional practice of the researches`informal forms" at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The methodological seminar was held according to the research plan of the Pedagogics Department within the grant project - AR 14872311 "Theory and technology for the development of the university teachers`research activity on the basis of integration in the practice the Action Research of the research`informal forms".

The informative speeches were made by the moderator, research professor of Abai KazNPU A.E. Berikkhanova and speakers: Director of the Department of Science U.M. Abdigapbarova, PhD, postdoctoral researcher B.O. Sapargaliyeva, Associate Professor of St. Petersburg State University L.O. Sarsenbayeva, Associate Professor Jh.K. Ibraimova, Master of Pedagogy, Teacher-Expert of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Almaty D.K. Baidildinova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, F.B. Asilbayeva. The topics included the relevance of transformation of Abai University into a research pedagogical university, world best practices of Action Research implementation, main methodological approaches and principles for the development of teachers` research activity, main cycles, stages of Action Research implementation, research competence of the teaching staff, expected results of Action Research implementation in the university practice were disclosed.

Also the seminar was also actively attended by Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor G.A. Abayeva and head of the chair, professor of Abai University, Sh.Zh. Kolumbayeva. The seminar served as an interesting intellectual platform for the exchange of research experience for the teaching staff of Abai University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh National Woman`s Pedagogical University, Shakarim University (Semey), Yessenov University, S.
