Decade of Science-2023 dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Abai KazNPU

The Decade of Science-2023 dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the first university of the country has started in KazNPU named after Abay. The solemn opening of the Decade of Science was held on April 4 this year, during which the Chairman of the Board- Rector Darkhan Bilyalov awarded valuable gifts to leading scientists and monetary certificates were awarded to authors who have published in 2022 in the editions indexed in Scopus and Web of Science quartile 1.

Vice-rector for administrative and financial activities Klara Isakova presented awards of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK for contribution to the development of science; Vice-rector for research activities Ermek Buribayev presented university certificates of merit and letters of thanks to executive secretaries of scientific journals, heads of research projects.

Darkhan Bilyalov expressed gratitude to all those who contribute to the promotion of our university in international rankings, forming the image as a pedagogical research university.

Director of the Department of Science Uljarkyn Abdigapbarova drew attention of the guests to the fact that the first time in the Decade of Science 2023 from 11.00 am will be held daily Top-Time under the heading "100 questions about science", where the rector and vice-rectors of the university will speak on the most pressing problems of management of scientific research.

The Decade of Science is not only a celebration of innovation and knowledge, but also the creativity of young talents. Scientists and teachers were congratulated by pupils of an experimental pedagogical class from a boarding school for gifted children named after Abay, and there was a colourful concert with musical and dance performances by students.

During the Decade of Science-2023 there will be many interesting activities that will take place non-stop until April 12 inclusive. All students and teachers are welcome to visit exhibitions, excursions, seminars and conferences!
