Republican competition "ROBO TIME-2023"

On April 7, 2023 Abai University held a Republican competition "ROBOTIME-2023" among university students. It was organized by the Department of Informatics and Informatization of Education of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Stem Park Laboratory and University Robotics Club "Abai Robo".

The aim of the event was to develop relevant education, increase students` interest in scientific and technical creativity and robotics, stimulate and popularize this sphere, and involve young people in solving urgent problems of our time by creating robotics products.

The competition was attended by 8 teams of universities: South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University (SKSPU); M.Auezov University; K.Zhubanov University; KazNWTTU (2 teams); Abai University (3 teams).

Teams competed in the following three categories: Robotics Competition "Race on the Line", "Kegelring Quadro" and "Robosumo".

According to the results of the competition 1st place was taken by the teams of Abai University, 2nd place by SKSPU and K.Zhubanov University, 3rd place by M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University and KazNWTTU.

The winners were awarded special diplomas and cash prizes.
