Graduates of Abai University in their Alma mater

On April 13, 2023, at the initiative of the Rukhani Zhangyru project office, graduates of the university met with activists of the university.

The meeting was attended by graduates of Abai University, head of the media holding "31", journalist Kurmanbek Zhumagalievich and director of the Directorate of information programs "Channel 31" Yerzhan Zhunis.

Speaking at the beginning of the meeting, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University Zhanatbek Yeshenkozhaevich thanked the guests for accepting the invitation of students and going to the educational institution where they studied.

In addition, in honor of the 30th anniversary of Channel 31, which took place on the eve of the 30th anniversary, the rector`s adviser presented a congratulatory letter from the head of the university and special personalized gifts.

During their studies at the university, Kurmanbek Zhumagalievich and Yerzhan Zhunis created the debate club "Atameken" and organized work on the further development and improvement of the club. Today, the debate club "Atameken" enjoys interest and demand among students.

During the meeting, the students asked several questions about how to become a specialist focused on functional literacy, about the subtleties of the journalism profession and about the modern debate movement.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to establish a creative connection between the university and the media holding "31", as well as to organize several projects for the comprehensive development of our students.
