Religious situation in the country

On April 24, 2023, in order to improve the religious literacy of youth at the Institute of History and Law at the Department of World History an online round table on "Religious situation in the country" was held. The speaker was the chief expert of the Department of religious expertise of the Ministry of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan J.K.Düisebayev.

He noted that the specialists of religious studies must be concerned not only about the religious situation in the country, but first of all about provocateurs, who can jeopardize the peaceful sky of the country, and to act actively against them, to suppress their actions so that the independence of Kazakhstan would remain unshaken. He suggested that teachers, scientists and young researchers should pay serious attention to such topical issues.

The session was attended by students of 1-4 courses of specialities "6B01602-History-Religion Studies", "7B01602-History-Religion Studies". Questions were asked to the speaker and clear answers were received. The event was very fruitful.
