Abai University took the 2nd place at the Republican Olympiad

The 15th Republican Subject Olympiad on the educational program "6B05203-Geography" was held in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was attended by universities of Astana, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Almaty and others.

The Olympiad consisted of three stages: Presentation; Solution of a test on the subject; Defence of a project on a topical topic. The "Shokan" team, participating from the "Geography and Ecology" department of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU, won the second place. The team members are 3rd year students of educational program "6B05203-Geography" Alua Kerimbaeva, Raushan Kambarbek, Akbota Kenzhetaeva. The scientific supervisor of the team is Duman Toktaruly Alaskarov, senior teacher.
