Active work by students

On April 24-27, 2023 with the support of teachers from the Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of KazNPU named after Abay Beken Akbota, Serik Madina and Suranchieva El-Dana students of the 3rd year specialty "6B011103-restaurant business and hotel business" presented the results of their individual work.

Students were divided into three groups, which had to analyse the work of several industry enterprises. Thus, the first group conducted a tour of the Bacchus company, received information on production, familiarised themselves with how products are prepared and stored. The second group summarised their work by organising a master class at Vanilla Coffee. The event was led by a barista with extensive experience. During the master class students learned about the intricacies of coffee making, what kinds of coffee exist, the specifics of their tastes, and how to make this popular drink. The third group had a guided tour of the NOVOTEL hotel. Students learned about the activities and history of the hotel, received information about internal services and regulations, visited standard, suites and presidential rooms, conference rooms and the SPA centre. During the tour, students actively asked questions of interest to them.
