Charity event "The Road of Good"

From March 13 to May 03, 2023, with the support of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy under the leadership of G.Shirinbaeva, volunteer students of the Meirim club, specialty "6B01801-Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge" conducted an online and offline charity event "The Road of Good" for people with disabilities social rehabilitation center "YERZI", Almaty. The purpose of the event is social and pedagogical support and financial assistance to raise funds for the purchase of a mat and a simulator necessary for people with disabilities.

The event was actively attended by the university staff, faculty and students of the Institutes of Pedagogy and Psychology, Natural Sciences and Geography, History and Law, Arts, Culture and Sports, Philology and Multilingual Education, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

On May 28, a donation box was opened with the participation of the Vice- Rector for Social Development - Sh .Nurlanova, Deputy Director for Educational and Social Work of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology S.Sholtai, head of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy U.Kiyakbayeva, teachers A.Aitpayeva, D.Azimbayeva and student volunteers.

From March 29 to May 03, 40 pieces of Tatami mats and walking simulator simulators "Shagun" were purchased for about 623 thousand tenge collected as part of the campaign and were solemnly handed over to the social rehabilitation center "YERZI" in the animator direction of the Meirim club in the complex of the program of correctional and developmental games on the site.

The volunteer club "Meirim" wholeheartedly expresses its gratitude to all kind people for their desire to help people with disabilities in need of social support. Thank you so much!
