Upgrade of scientific knowledge through cooperation with the University of Cambridge

On 20 June 2023 the research group of the foundation project AP 14872311 "Theory and Technology for fostering research activity of university teachers through integration of informal forms of research as Action Research" successfully completed the training seminar of Professor Elaine Wilson from Cambridge University.

Through daily interactive work, discussion sessions, case studies organised by Elaine Wilson during the workshop allowed the research team to deepen their understanding of the Action Research concept, learn about different options of structuring and designing a research article, methods of processing experimental data for publication of the article in highly-cited journals of Web of Science database.

The advanced training of the research team was concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation in the seminar.

For further cooperation of Homerton College, University of Cambridge and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, promising priorities of Action Research in higher education, improvement of professional training of future teachers on the basis of the world`s best practices were identified.
