International professional development course

 

The professional development course on "Innovative Approaches of Quality Professional Education of Future Primary Grades Teachers" was successfully held from June 19 to 24, 2023 offline and further will be continued in the online format. It was organized by the Centre for Pedagogical Skills and the Department of Primary Education of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU.

 

Teachers from Fergana State University (Uzbekistan) took part in the courses in order to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of professional education for primary school teachers. The courses were designed to incorporate the latest innovative approaches to education and provided participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in an active learning environment. Leading teachers of the department, Asel Akpaeva, Larisa Lebedeva, Ekaterina Ryabova, Asyl Arenova and Aigul Safargalieva, shared their experiences and ideas with fellow course participants. Aziya Zhumabaeva, Head of the Department, and Kazyna Bekbenbetova, Head of the Centre for Pedagogical Excellence, organised training and productive communication.

 

Participants went through special modules that included theoretical materials, practical tasks and group discussions. They became familiar with advanced teaching methods, integration of technologies in the educational process, assessment and management of students` educational achievements.

 

The next stage of the course (in online format) will allow participants to plan their time flexibly and continue learning the materials without being tied to place and time. The organizers gave participants access to video lectures, interactive materials and other resources to facilitate effective and convenient learning.

 

The knowledge and skills gained will help teachers at Fergana University to introduce innovative approaches into their practice, creating a better and more effective educational environment for future primary school teachers.
