The first day of the "Zher-2023" exercises at Abai KazNPU was successful

From September 11 to 12, 2023, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan is holding a Command and staff exercise "Zher-2023" in Almaty. One of the elements of the exercise is to conduct seismic training and evacuation of people in the event of a fire in the universities of the city. During the exercise, electric sirens and loudspeakers were turned on everywhere.

Employees and students of our university took an active part in the seismic training on September 11 this year. Having left the building without panic, they gathered on a safe area away from the academic building, where there are no large trees and power lines.

The heads of structural divisions (teachers), having identified safe places and checked the presence of subordinates (students), reported to the Acting Chairman of the Board - rector (head of the training) on the activities carried out. Then, at his command, everyone returned to the classroom and to their workplaces.
