Open educational lesson on the topic «Health and Culture»

On September 28, 2023, at the Institute of History and Law, a teacher of the department of political science and socio-philosophical disciplines, university professor Matakbaeva L.H., within the framework of the discipline "Sociology of Medicine", conducted an open educational lesson with 4th year students of the specialty "Sociology" on the topic "Health and culture." The guest of this event was a gynecologist, oncomammologist, trainer-coach Ayathan Didar. She told students about the characteristics of the human body, the value of physical and mental health as the basis for successful human life. The goal of the new course "Sociology of Medicine" is for students to obtain systematized knowledge about health as a subject of study of sociology, about the role and place of medicine and healthcare in the life of society, about the essence, characteristics and functions of the health care system as a social phenomenon.
