Opening of the "Socio-pedagogical workshop of Abai KazNPU" at the gymnasium No. 168 named after K.Katykbaeva

On October 2, 2023, Abai University, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy held an international professional pedagogical forum "The role of a social pedagogue in modern society: socio-pedagogical problems in the system of kindergarten-school-college-higher educational institution and social Protection of the population", dedicated to the International Day of Social Pedagogue.

Within the framework of the forum, the "Socio-pedagogical Workshop of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai" was opened at the K. Katykbayeva Gymnasium No. 168.

Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, with the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, Gymnasium No. 168 named after K. Katykbaeva have been cooperating for more than 10 years.

On the basis of pedagogical partnership, more than 200 students of the specialty social pedagogy have successfully completed pedagogical and industrial practice at school and have formed practical skills.

The teaching staff of the department constantly provides scientific and methodological assistance to teachers and social educators of the school, the association holds timely events on various socio-pedagogical issues.

On the basis of such successful work, a unanimous decision was made to open a socio-pedagogical workshop at the K. Katykbaeva Gymnasium No. 168 on the basis of a joint determination of the school management and the teaching staff of the department.

The rules and methodological recommendations of the socio-pedagogical workshop were developed and presented during the forum.

The purpose of the "Socio-pedagogical workshop" is to teach both the experience of professional training of students of a socio-pedagogical specialty and the use of new modern technologies of socialization, as well as to provide methodological assistance to teachers in organizing educational and educational work with students.

The presentation of the socio-pedagogical workshop was successfully held at the K. Katykbayeva Gymnasium No. 168, organized by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Gauhar Zhurinova, social pedagogue Yerkebulan Rakhatuly, which was attended by foreign scientists, faculty and students of the university.

Also, the gymnasium school hosted the presentation of several textbooks dedicated to the socio-pedagogical problems of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Islamia Khalitova.
