Abai KazNPU alumna reached the finals of the Asian Games and won a ticket to the Olympic Games

Freestyle wrestler Zhamila Bakbergenova, a graduate of Abai KazNPU, a member of Kazakhstan`s national team, competed in the 76kg weight class at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and reached the final. Having defeated rivals from Uzbekistan, Mongolia and India, she won a ticket to the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris-2024. We congratulate our athlete and her coaches. We wish new victories!
