Scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Academician of NAS RK Kh.Abzhanov

On October 13, 2023, a republican scientific and practical conference was held dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Khankeldy Makhmutuly Abzhanov on the topic "The movement of history and the Kazakh path: stages, lessons and the future". The main purpose of the event is to study, through the scientific work of Academician Kh. M. Abzhanov, current problems of national history in the context of world history, to identify social and spiritual aspects of national history, the struggle of the Kazakh people for independence and the revival of statehood, problems and new positions in history, discussion and generalization of historical processes.

The conference was opened by Narbekova Banu, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU. During the conference, a presentation ceremony of books by academician Kh.M. Abzhanov "Tabaldyryk", "Tagdyr", "Tulga".

At the conference, current research topics in the field of historical science were discussed, as well as an overview of current research areas. The scientific heritage of Academician Kh.M. Abzhanov was promoted among young researchers and students, and discussions and dialogues between participants became an important part of the conference.

This scientific and practical conference provided an opportunity for scientists and researchers to establish contacts, exchange knowledge and experience, establish cooperation and future research projects. The conference was organized and held at a high level.
