Meeting with representatives of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs

 

On November 21, 2023, a meeting was held for students of the Abai KazNPU Institute of History and Law with representatives of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs Rakhman Kubashev, a specialist in project activities of this organization and Gulbana Yerezhepova, the national coordinator for work with UNESCO clubs. About 100 students attended the meeting. The opening speech was given to the head of the Department of Political Science and Socio-philosophical Disciplines Simtikov Zhomart. The participation of the event was headed by the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of History and Law - Mukhtar Muratkazin and the Deputy director for Educational and Social Work - Nurlan Manapov. The event was organized by the lecturer of the Department of «Political Science and Socio-philosophical Disciplines» Esengazy Turalin.

 

The meeting with UNESCO representatives at our university was an exceptionally important event, positively influencing the student community. The goal of the event was to familiarize students with project work and disseminate information about various volunteer programs and internships conducted by the organization.

It is worth noting the professionalism and enthusiasm of UNESCO representatives. Their presentation was informative, interesting, and full of inspiring examples of successful volunteer initiatives and projects. They effectively conveyed to the students the value of participating in various projects. The meeting dedicated to UNESCO activities became a wonderful opportunity for students to express their interest in global issues, cultural diversity, and education. The atmosphere of the event was friendly, and each student had the opportunity to speak up, express their ideas, and ask questions.

 

The Kazakh National Federation of UNESCO Clubs presents an excellent opportunity for students to actively participate in addressing global problems and contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals.

 

Thanks to the meeting with UNESCO representatives, students have the opportunity not only to expand their knowledge about the importance of volunteering but also to actively participate in the cause of global well-being.
