Project success - demand and uniqueness in modern realities

Abai University builds its scientific future on successfully implemented projects, which play a key role in the formation of the integral role concept of the leading scientific schools and projects of the university.

One of the brightest representatives of scientific schools is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ulzharkyn Abdigapbarova. Her ability to create favourable conditions for projects ensures their stable success. Her leadership of significant projects at the republican and international levels serves as an example for the scientific community. The productivity of her scientific activity is reflected in a number of projects funded by MSHE RK. Such projects as AP05134253 Dual-oriented learning - as a condition for improving the professional training of the future teacher (2018-2020) and AP08857119 Transformation of student-centred learning of the future teacher in the conditions of digital environment (2020-2022), enrich the educational environment and demonstrate high demand and relevance.

The first project increased the number of teaching practices, strengthened the integration activities of the educational triad "school, college, university" and developed a mentoring programme. This not only improved the training of future teachers, but also gave students the opportunity to make an informed choice of profession and successfully find employment. Published monographs and textbooks, as well as defended dissertations, confirm the significance of this project.

Due to the competently prioritised introduction of elements of dual-oriented learning in higher pedagogical education, the project has its continuation as one of the research topics in the DAAD international project "Pedagogical Professionalism and Internationalisation" 2021-2023 together with scientists from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) (2021-2023).

The second project "Transforming Student-Centred Learning of Future Teacher in a Digital Environment" introduces a digital platform for personalised learning and educational programmes, supporting the relevance of the project in the field of education.

Ulzharkyn Abdigapbarova professes the scientific credo: "Creating is the best way to enjoy life". Her work continues to be fundamental and relevant to the development of Abai University, national education and science.
