Hi-tech minor and Coursera: learning at a new level

From the academic year 2023-2024, Abai University has introduced the HI-TECH Minor program for the undergraduate level.
This program aims to teach modern and advanced technologies in various fields. In the Minor program, students are introduced to the content of such disciplines as "Networking Technologies and Internet of Things (IoT)", "Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Methods", "Immersive Technologies", "GameDev Fundamentals".

The content of the disciplines is developed by professors of the Department of Informatics and Informatization of Education based on a combination with courses developed on the Coursera platform.

Also, in the 2023-2024 academic year, an elective course "Artificial Intelligence Systems" is being studied in the specialty "Information Systems". From the new 2024-2025 academic year, the discipline "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence" is introduced in all educational programs of Abai University.
