Competition for the position of the first head of «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University» NJSC is announced

The Board of Directors of Noncommercial Joint Stock Company «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University», 13 Dostyk Ave., Almaty, 050010 announces a competition for the vacancy of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Noncommercial Joint Stock Company «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University «.

The main subject of activity is provision of educational services in the sphere of higher, postgraduate, technical and professional post-secondary and additional education.

The purpose of activity is creation of necessary conditions for qualitative education, learning and teaching, directed to formation, development and professional formation of personality on the basis of national and general human values, achievements of science and practice, and also for development of scientific potential and commercialization of developments.

Requirements to contest participants: higher and (or) postgraduate education, work experience in leadership positions in educational organizations and (or) authorized bodies in relevant areas not less than five years.

Persons may not participate in the competition:

1) under twenty-five years of age;

2) have previously committed a corruption offence;

3) have an unexpunged or outstanding conviction

4) are registered in special medical institutions;

5) other cases stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A person applying for participation in the competition shall submit the following documents

1) an application in the prescribed form;

2) a copy of an identity document;

3) record of a contestant with a 3x4 colour photo in the prescribed form;

4) higher education institution development programme;

5) copies of documents on education and annexes thereto with the submission of the originals for verification;

6) copy of the document confirming employment, certified by the personnel department at the place of (current or last) employment;

7) medical certificate of health status (professional medical opinion) in form no. 086/y;

8) certificate from psycho-neurological organization issued not more than one year prior to submission of the documents in accordance with the legislation on public services;

9) certificate from narcological organization issued not more than one year prior to the date of submission of documents in accordance with the legislation on public services; 9) certificate from narcological organization issued not more than one year prior to the date of submission of documents in accordance with the legislation on public services

10) document confirming the absence of prohibition to hold a position in accordance with the legislation on public services.

Acceptance of documents for the competition shall be held within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date of publication of the announcement.

The date and place of the competition will be announced additionally.
