Presentation of scientific works by Professor Balkia Kasym

On April 12, 2024, within the framework of the Decade of Science, the Department of Theory and Methodology of Teaching the Kazakh Language of the Institute of Philology organized a presentation of five books by Doctor of Philology, Professor Kasym Balkiya, published by AKÇAĞ publishing house (Ankara, Turkey). These are the monographs "Metaphorical names: cognitive-semantic word formation", "Word formation: Semantics. Motivation", textbooks "Cognitive linguistics", "Word formation of the Kazakh language: learning using interactive technologies" and a textbook "Comparative grammar of Turkic languages".

The presentation was opened by the head of the department, Professor N.A.Ilyasova. She stressed that the author of scientific works is a graduate of KazNPU named after. Abaya graduated from postgraduate and doctoral studies, noting the professional growth of the scientist. A guest from KIMEP, Professor Zauresh Yernazarova, spoke at the event, who spoke about the research directions and scientific concepts of B.Kasym. The students asked their questions. The presentation was held at a high level.
