Student deans were elected at Abay University

On April 18, 2024, the campaign for the election of interfaculty student deans was held at Abai KazNPU. 57 candidates from all faculties took part in the election.

Among them: 6 candidates from the Faculty of Philology, 10 candidates from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, 11 candidates from the Faculty of History and Law, 7 candidates from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, 10 candidates from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, 2 candidates from the Faculty of Sorbonne-Kazakhstan, Arts, Culture and Sports. 5 candidates in the field of arts, 6 candidates in the field of sports were registered as candidates for election.

As a result of the election, student deans:
Dean of students of the Faculty of Philology - 2nd year student Kamalova Togzhan (155 votes);
Dean of students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography - 1st year student Ashirov Myrza (59 votes);
Dean of students of the Faculty of History and Law - 2nd year student Algisovna Zhannuri (53 votes);
Student Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology - 2nd year student Dana Karamanova (121 votes);
Dean of students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics - 2nd year student Tursynbek Amina (277 votes);
Student dean of Sorbonne-Kazakhstan faculty - 1st year student Aykynkyzy
Bagzhan (68 votes);

Dean of students in the art department of the Faculty of Art, Culture and Sports - Zhanel Seydalieva (37 votes);
Rakhimzhan Zhomart, a 2nd year student, was elected dean of students in the field of sports at the Faculty of Arts, Culture and Sports (122 votes).
