The II republican competition of student theaters "Student and Stage"

On April 20, 2024, KazNPU named after Abay organized the II Republican competition of student theaters "Student and stage" within the framework of the spring festive events "Abai Alemi".

The jury members in the competition were actress of the Kazakh National State Academic Theater for Children and Youth named after G. Musrepov, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Belzhanova Kulzhamila Abdildaevna, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor Utebayeva Maisa Omarbekovna, Associate Professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenova, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tokeev Ergalym, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, playwright, actor Yesenaliev Baigali Makulbekovich, Vice-Rector for Social Development Zhakauov Maksat Donesovich.

The competition, organized with the aim of developing students` creative abilities and instilling national and spiritual values in young people, was attended by 13 student theaters. 6 student theaters selected from the first stage. Due to the emergency situations occurring in our country, the Karaganda University named after E. A. Buketov student theater "Kozhanasyr" could not take part in the final stage.

There were works that raised topical issues of today. As a result, the student theater "Orken" of the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov (Shymkent) with the performance "Shybyn Gumyr" he took the first place and became the winner of the competition.

The second place was taken by the student theater "Oner - zhastan ..." of the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University with the production "Mugalim", the third place was taken by the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi (Turkestan) student theater "Rukh" named after Karimbek Seitmetov.
