"Journey to the museums of Almaty": students visited the House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov

On May 10, 2024, organized by the Department of Social Development and Youth Policy and the Academy of pedagogical skills "School of mentoring", students of the 1st Year of the Faculty of Philology visited the House-Museum of the teacher of the nation Akhmet Baitursynov within the framework of the mentoring project "Journey to the Museums of Almaty".

Visiting the museum, students got acquainted with archival materials related to the life of a public figure, poet, scientist Akhmet Baitursynov, visited various documents, handwritten heritage and photographs.

The House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov consists of four rooms and one basement. One of its rooms is the Akhmet studies lecture hall. In three halls there are exhibits related to the creative life of the scientist. The first Hall is called "the return of our national spirit", the second hall is called "the beacon of Kazakh consciousness", and the third Hall is called "the victim of politics", where the scientist`s case, prison periods are covered.
It should be noted that the mentoring project "Journey to the Museums of Almaty" will continue from 06 to 25 May.
