China-Central Asia Conference: Integration of Production, Education, and Innovation

On June 26-27, 2024, the China-Central Asia International Conference on the Integration of Production, Education, and Innovation was held within the framework of the Asia-Europe Expo in Urumqi (PRC), organized by the government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the PRC.

The goal of the conference was to implement the cooperation agreements reached at the "China - Central Asia" summit and the III International Cooperation Forum "One Belt, One Road" in 2023. Participants discussed issues related to deepening bilateral and multilateral exchange in the field of education, creating a sustainable cooperation mechanism between national educational authorities and universities of Central Asia and China, and providing a platform for exchanging experiences in education development.

The conference was attended by prominent political figures, ministers and vice-ministers of education, top managers, and representatives of universities from the PRC and Central Asian countries.

The Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was represented by the Foundation Faculty, including Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences T. Igissinov and Professor Қ. Sarqytkhan. The university held productive negotiations on cooperation in the field of education and science with Ili Pedagogical University and Kashi University.
