Abai University Explores Drone Technology Collaboration with Tianjin UMS Smart Technology Co. Ltd

On August 16, 2024, Abai University hosted a meeting with Professor Own Chung-Ming, a representative of Tianjin UMS Smart Technology Co. Ltd. (China). The event was attended by the university administration, along with representatives from the Department of Science and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.

The meeting focused on exploring potential collaboration between Abai University and Tianjin UMS Smart Technology Co. Ltd., specifically in the establishment of a drone laboratory and the development of innovative solutions in drone technology.

During the discussions, detailed plans were laid out to create a unique platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas aimed at advancing drone technology. Particular attention was given to the creation of a drone laboratory at Abai University, the country`s leading pedagogical institution, and to fostering further collaboration between Tianjin UMS Smart Technology Co. Ltd. and Abai University through joint research projects.

"Our company operates like a small laboratory. Currently, I am engaged in designing drones and robots, and developing their structures. Our drones are integrated with artificial intelligence and are also being developed for educational purposes, including the creation of game-based teaching methods. I teach computer technology to students and create opportunities for their active involvement in this field," said Professor Own Chung-Ming.

This meeting between representatives of the two countries laid a solid foundation for cooperation, which will accelerate the development of advanced technologies and create new opportunities for students and researchers. This collaboration will significantly enhance the scientific potential of both organizations.
