A solemn event «Qosh keldin, student» was held in Astana

On October 11, 2024, a solemn event «Qosh keldin, student» was held at the Faculty of Education of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in Astana, dedicated to the official admission of first-year students of Abai KazNPU.

The event, organized by the Department of Social Development and Youth Policy of the University, was attended by Chairman of the Board-Rector Bolat Tlep and opening the festive evening congratulated all first-year students on obtaining student status and wished them successful studies and bright achievements in the future.

During the festive evening, talented students of our university showed their talents and won the hearts of the audience with their performances.

Recall that this year, in order to eliminate the shortage of teaching staff in the labor market and joint training of teachers, a consortium was formed between Abai KazNPU and L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University. On the basis of this partnership, the Faculty of Education of Abai University was opened on the basis of the Eurasian National University, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan allocated 240 targeted grants to 9 groups of educational programs of the newly created faculty.

As a result, to date, 300 first-year applicants have enrolled in the Faculty of Education and have become students of KazNPU.
