440 specialists of kindergartens in Almaty have improved their professional skills


From August 22 to October 16, 2024, advanced training courses for specialists of preschool educational institutions were completed in Almaty, which lasted three months. In total, 440 teachers have improved their professional skills during this time. The project was organized by the Department of Education with the support of the Mayor`s Office of the city as part of the implementation of the roadmap for the development of the city of Almaty.

 

The refresher courses consisted of three stages. The first stage included educators and methodologists, the second stage -kindergarten managers and psychologists, and the third stage - special teachers (speech therapists, speech pathologists, typhlopedagogues). Thus, training programs have been developed that are suitable for each category, and specialists have mastered modern approaches to preschool education. The students were trained by leading domestic and foreign specialists. In this course, a senior PhD lecturer at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abaya qualified specialist Yerkebayeva Saule conducted a lecture and seminar for the audience in connection with advanced theory and practice.

 

The main goal of this project is to improve the competencies of teachers of preschool organizations. During his studies, he mastered innovative methods of preschool education, including inclusive education. The programs are aimed at creating an optimally adapted educational environment for successful learning and development of children with the active use of the latest digital technologies.

 

As part of the course, a 5-day international seminar was organized on the topic "Global strategies of education and training in the preschool education system". At the seminar, the students were trained by international speakers from Malaysia, Italy, Hong Kong and Greece, where kindergarten specialists got acquainted with the experience of preschool education in these countries.

 

It is worth noting that during the course, 20 kindergarten managers and 20 methodologists were selected, who had the opportunity to complete an internship at the best preschool educational institutions in Malaysia, China, Poland and Germany.
