«Senshe Zhaiyk arnamnan togiler em...» literary and poetic evening of the meeting

On October 23, 2024, the National Educational Center «Hakim Abai» and the Orazala Dosbosynov School of Young Poets at Abai University organized a meeting with Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, poet Akushtap Baktygereeva on the topic «Senshe Zhaiyk arnamnan togiler em...».

The event was attended by Vice-rector for Social Development of the University Maksat Zhakau, Director of the Department of Social and Youth Policy Rakhimberdy Zhetybai, daughter of poet Tolegen Aibergenov Saltanat Aibergenova and more than 150 active university students.

The purpose of the joint meeting, organized within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai and the Republican Public Association «Union of Writers of Kazakhstan» and on the basis of a bilateral joint work plan, was to promote the poet`s work, increase the interest of young people in the art of speech, national spirituality.

The literary and poetic meeting was opened by university graduate Yerkebulan Akhan with the song «Kulip Zhur», and active university students read the poet`s poems.

During the evening, the poet read poems on the themes of her native land, homeland, motherhood, education of girls, love, written in different years, told about her work and life. She also answered the questions of the participants of the event and talked about maternal advice. Meanwhile, Saltanat Aibergenova read a poem by Tolegen Aibergenov`s father «The Blue Hawk», dedicated to the poet.

At the end of the event, Vice-rector for Social Development of the University Maksat Zhakau presented flowers to the guest of honor of the evening of the meeting, Akushtap Baktygereeva, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Bolat Tlep.
