Literary lounge "Talent born by the people"

On November 18, 2024 the Russian Language and Literature Department of Abai KazNPU together with specialized lyceum №165 within the framework of cooperation with schools will hold a literary lounge dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the famous Kazakh writer, poet and playwright Beimbet Mailin.

The event, entitled "Talent born by the people", is aimed at immortalising the memory of the great writer, whose work has left a deep trace in the literature of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the evening there will be speeches of honoured guests who will share their memories and researches about life and creativity of Beimbet Mailin.

The following were invited as guests: Saltanat Mustafina, Head of the Beimbet Mailin Foundation Public Foundation, Svetlana Rudik, Head of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty) Maria Simakova.
