03.12.2021 Vacancy announcement for the position of Head of the Military Department
Qualification requirements for the candidate: The Head of the Military Department should have a higher military, specialised military education. It is necessary to have at least 10 calendar years of military service in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Military rank - colonel in the reserve and above. Persons dismissed from the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the RK on positive motives, with the right to wear military uniform, are appointed to the position of the Head of the Military Department.
- supervise the development of projects of working curricula and educational-methodical complexes of disciplines; - to supervise the development of textbooks, manuals and other educational and methodical materials for the disciplines of the department; - make allocation of lecturers` working hours for conducting educational classes, methodical and scientific work, command training and other types of work; - to conduct training sessions with students, to control the conditions of teachers` preparation for the sessions, and to monitor the quality of the sessions; - to conduct in person open instructor-methodological classes on new and most complicated topics of academic disciplines of the department; - to carry out personally the systematic control of training and methodical sessions, carried out by the teaching staff of the department, as well as control of the current and final progress, level and quality of cadets` training in the disciplines of the department; - to organise and supervise the training camps and professional practice of the students - supervise the work of subject-methodical commissions of the department, scientific work of the department members and personally participate in them; - to control fulfillment of plans of scientific works, personally supervise the training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the department; - systematically improve their professional qualification, manage the inventive and rationalisation work at the department; - to organize department activity in the field of introduction in educational process of methodical achievements, new technologies of training (effective forms, methods and means of training, best practices of other universities, military experience) - to study comprehensively the staff of the department, to know the business, moral and psychological qualities of each teacher - to take care of the improvement of physical fitness, preservation and strengthening of health of subordinates, to lead the work aimed at the development and improvement of training and material base of the department.
The head of the military department should know: A person applying for participation in the competition shall submit the following documents within the deadline specified in the announcement of the competition: 1. Employees of Abai KazNPU: - Application to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University for participation in the competition; - Questionnaire of the candidate (in electronic format);*. - Protocol decision of the department meeting; - The list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the Chief Scientific Secretary (for the last 5 years); - Certificates of proficiency in foreign languages (if any); - Copies of the certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any), their originals for verification (for the last 5 years). 2. External candidates: - Application to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University for participation in the competition; - Applicant`s application form (in electronic format);*. - ID card; - Copies of diplomas of higher education, academic degree, document about academic title, their originals for verification; - A document confirming the employment activity (for those who have work experience); - A personal record sheet; - Reference on absence of previous convictions; - Certificate of absence of registration in narcological, psychoneurological and anti-tuberculosis dispensaries; - Certificates of foreign languages skills (if any); - Copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any), their originals for verification (for the last 5 years); - List of scientific works and inventions, certified by the Chief Scientific Secretary (for the last 5 years); - Characteristics from the last job; - Autobiography.
