MEETING ON FINANCE HELD AT ABAI UNIVERSITY

On November 4, 2025, Abai University hosted an official meeting with representatives of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market. During the event, Vice-Rector for Social Development of Abai University, Maksat Zhakaуov, and Deputy Chairman of the Agency, Olzhas Kizatov, signed a memorandum of cooperation.

In an era when financial fraud is widespread, financial literacy has become essential for every member of society. The main goal of this meeting was to help prevent such concerning trends and to raise awareness among young people, ensuring that students are more vigilant and protected from fraudsters.

The signed memorandum aims to strengthen ties between the education and financial sectors, enhance students’ financial literacy, and reinforce the practical component of future specialists’ training. Under this agreement, the parties plan to jointly organize educational seminars, training sessions, and conferences dedicated to key issues of the financial market.

Vice-Rector Maksat Zhakaуov noted:

— Abai University places special emphasis on strengthening partnerships with government bodies and leading sectoral institutions. This memorandum will allow our students to gain practical knowledge and understand how the real financial market operates, — he emphasized, highlighting the strategic importance of the cooperation.

The collaboration between Abai University and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan marks the beginning of a partnership aimed at expanding students’ practical knowledge and developing their professional potential. In the future, this cooperation will contribute to strengthening bilateral collaboration in various fields.
