III INTERNATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL FORUM HELD

On November 4, 2025, Abai University hosted the III International Pedagogical Forum titled "Educational Strategies: Training the Future Workforce," dedicated to the memory of public figure and academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhailauly Praliyev. The forum brought together leading scholars, experts in the field of pedagogy, and representatives of higher education institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, the Republic of Korea, and Uzbekistan.

During the forum, participants discussed contemporary educational strategies, effective methods, and innovative approaches to training future teachers. The discussions also addressed pressing issues such as improving the quality of education, implementing innovative pedagogical technologies, enhancing digital learning systems, and developing the professional competencies of future educators.

As part of the international forum, a special memorial session was held in honor of the pedagogical legacy of Academician Serik Praliyev. The session highlighted his significant contributions to the development of Kazakhstans education system, his reformist ideas, and his distinguished role as an outstanding teacher and mentor.

The event featured sectional meetings, panel discussions, master classes, and the signing of memorandums of cooperation between higher education institutions.

At the conclusion of the forum, the winners of the "Best Researcher - 2025" competition, dedicated to the memory of S.Zh.Praliyev, were awarded special monetary prizes.

Reference: Serik Zhailauly Praliyev was a prominent scholar, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a distinguished public and educational figure. He made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstans higher education system, teacher training, and the integration of science and education.

Throughout his career, Serik Zhailauly headed several higher education institutions, including serving as Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and President of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

His scientific works focused on the theory and methodology of professional pedagogical education and on improving the professional adaptation of future teachers. He supervised numerous young researchers and made a valuable contribution to the advancement of pedagogical science in Kazakhstan.
