17 November is International Students’ Day. This day is significant not only for young people, but for society as a whole. In this sense, it can be considered a nationwide celebration. In keeping with tradition, the university’s leadership presents graduates stepping into adulthood with a special gift — the book “Abai’s Words of Wisdom”. This symbolic gesture reflects the university’s wish for its students to remain faithful to the legacy and teachings of the great thinker.

For the university, International Students’ Day is not merely a celebration but an important value aimed at supporting the spiritual and intellectual growth of its learners. This day highlights students’ passion for knowledge and underscores the formation of a new generation shaped by Abai’s “Complete Human” concept — young people who cherish national values, love their country, and uphold the highest moral standards.

Beginning this year, during the diploma award ceremony, graduates will receive “Abai’s Words of Wisdom” as a commemorative gift on behalf of the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Abai University. The purpose of this new tradition is to provide each graduate with a meaningful keepsake that serves as a source of spiritual guidance, offering life principles and moral benchmarks. “Abai’s Words of Wisdom” will act as a spiritual compass, helping graduates choose the right path in both professional and personal spheres.
