International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sacred Geography and Culture in the Prism of Spiritual Renewal: Experience and Practice"

On 26-27 April, 2018, an international scientific and practical conference "Sacred geography and culture through the prism of spiritual renewal: the experience and practice", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

In the plenary part of the conference, the vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Aktolkyn Kulsarieva delivered a greeting speech to the conference participants and with a scientific report. She noted the importance of this conference and expressed her opinion on the topical issues of the conference. Director of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography Professor Kulyash Kaymuldinova addressed the participants with a greeting and wished for creative work in sectional meetings.

Presentations in the plenary of the academicians of NAS RK Aliya Beisenova, leading researcher of the Institute of Geography named after Academician Aliyev of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Rovshan Kerimov, head of Chair of "Ecology and Earth Sciences" of Moscow Pedagogical State University Vasily Eroshenko, assistant professor of I. Zhansigurov Zhetysu State University Erkin Tokpanov.

In the afternoon, sectional sessions of the conference were held. In general, the conference program includes more than 80 reports of scientists, teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students from Poland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
