Abai KazNPU entered into the General rating of the TOP-20 higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 15 May, 2018, annually conducted by the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (NAAR), the National Ranking of the Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan was published in the directions and levels of training of specialists of the year 2018. This year, the National rating of the demand for higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was determined with the use of an improved version of the digital ranking program, that corresponds to the purpose and objectives of the State program "Digital Kazakhstan", approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 12, 2017, No 827.

In 2018, 75 universities of the Republic submitted applications for participation in the National rating of universities in the RK, 58 universities were included in the National rating, of which 6 national, 21 state, 7 joint-stock and 24 private universities.

According to the rating results, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University is in the TOP-20 of the best universities of the country, taking the 7th position - the highest position among pedagogical universities. In the institutional rating in the direction of "Education", our university took an honorable first place. In the ratings of a number of educational programs of different levels and directions of training specialists, the leading places with high indicators also belong to Abai KazNPU.

The national rating allows the Kazakhstani universities to determine their positions, assess the level of competitiveness of educational services, to promote quality work, to increase the image and effectiveness of activities, and most importantly - to attract more students and to expand the attractiveness for employers.

The national rating of universities RK-2018 is an effective ranking and evaluation tool that promotes competitiveness and growth of export potential of educational services oriented to supporting and promoting the quality culture of education of RK. Covering various spheres of the university activity, multi-vector rating of NAAR allows to get a detailed idea of ​​the potential, resources and priorities of its further development, and also contributes to the prestige and recognition of the institution.
