International scientific-practical conference «Methodology and practice of formation of competitive higher pedagogical education»

On 20 April 2018, the international scientific and practical conference «Methodology and Practice of Becoming a Competitive Higher Teacher Education» was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The main purpose of the conference was a broad exchange of scientific achievements, concepts and views on the topical issues of the formation of competitive higher pedagogical education (hereinafter - HPE).

Opening the conference, rector Takir Balykbayev emphasized that «the competitiveness of future teachers, their readiness for constant changes, for continuous education and professional growth are determined by the competitiveness of higher pedagogical education».

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation, Aktolkyn Kulsarieva, director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Berik Almukhambetov, head of the pedagogy chair, Corlan Zhampeisova, director of the Institute for Innovative and Inclusive Education of the Omsk State Pedagogical University, Nadezhda Chekaleva, academician, president of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, member of the Executive Committee of the World Council of Societies for Comparative Education, Askarbek Kusainov, Professor, Academician of KazNANS, APS of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Board of JSC «National Center of Informatization of the Republic of Kazakhstan», Gul Nurgaliyev, professor of pedagogy of Omsk State Pedagogical University, Drobotenko Julia, the professor, academician of NAS RK, Kuliash Kunantaeva, Professor Abai KazNPU, academician, honorary professor of the International Institute of Differential Psychology, Zhamilya Namazbayev, faculty, students of the University and representatives of other Kazakh and foreign higher educational institutions attended at the conference.

The following issues were discussed at the four sections of the conference (the formation of a new paradigm of competitive HPE in the light of the President`s Addresses and strategic documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the impact of spiritual modernization of public consciousness, methodological approaches, ideas and principles for the formation of competitive HPE, the formation and development of competitiveness of future educators, scientific and methodical support of competitive HPE, etc).
