International scientific-practical conference «Art and education at the present stage. National and global in the context of pedagogical education: problems, trends and perspectives»

On 27 February 2018, within the framework of celebrating the 90th anniversary of Abai KazNPU, an international conference «Art and Education at the Present Stage. National and global in the context of pedagogical education: problems, trends and perspectives».

The purpose of this conference was to discuss the problems of the development of contemporary art and education in the context of the State Program «Rukhani zhanguiru».

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsarieva, President of the Cultural Foundation of the Turkic Peoples , editor-in-chief of the Mir Turk newspaper AhmetDagduran (Turkey), professor of Gazi University Timur Rezin (Turkey), director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Berikzhan Almukhambetov, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Nurdaulet Isabek, Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts Baymurat Ospanov, teacher staff, undergraduates and doctoral students of the University took part at the conference.

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsarieva addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech, she stressed the scale of the event and wished its participants successful work.

The moderator of the conference Baymurat Ospanov introduced the honorable guests of the scientific event: the President of the Cultural Foundation of the Turkic Peoples Ahmet Dagduran and Professor of Gazi University Timur Rezin (Turkey). Both guests stressed that they highly appreciate Abay`s work, read M. Auezov`s novel «The Way of Abai» and consider it an honor to be in a university bearing the name of a great thinker and poet.

The Organizing Committee received about 100 applications for participation at the conference, of which about 20% - undergraduates and doctoral students of the University. At the conference, presentations were made by educators, representatives of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives from foreign countries, young researchers.

During the work of the four sections of the conference, a high level of submitted scientific reports was noted. They aroused great interest among the listeners, thereby confirming the relevance of the problems of the development of contemporary art and education.

International scientific-practical conference «Art and education at the present stage. National and Global in the Context of pedagogical Education: Problems, Trends and perspectives» was held at a high scientific, methodological and organizational level and became an important event in the scientific life of our university.
