A meeting with graduates of the University of 1968

On 13 July, 2008, was held a meeting with alumni of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University 50 years ago.

The first vice-rector of the University Maktagali Bektemesov, the director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Murat Bekpatshaev, the executive director of the Alumni Association Bolatbek Nurbatirov, took part in a meeting with 25 university graduates.

Opening the meeting with a welcome speech, Maktagali Bektemesov:

"You had a happy and difficult student life at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The President has identified a number of new problems to improve the situation of teachers in the field of education and science. As the state aid grows, the responsibility of the teaching staff and students grows. At the initiative of the rector Takir Balykbaev, we are carrying out a large and productive work to implement the development strategy of our university. After all, the level of ascension is too high. This year - the 90th anniversary of Abai National Pedagogical University, the leader of national pedagogical educational institutions. The graduates of our university, which have a 90-year history, will continue to contribute to the development of the country and education", - he said.

Honored guests of the meeting, teachers of graduates, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, famous methodologist, mathematician, Sovetbay Elubayev, honorary teacher Nurdaulet Maykotov shared their memories of the history of the country`s first educational institution, wished to strive to conquer new heights.

Graduates of the university, Kaden Bopaev (second doctor of physical and mathematical sciences in the history of KazPI), Muratbek Abylkhasym, Mergali Kabaev, congratulated the University on its 90th anniversary and shared their memories of the 1964-1968 school year. The basis of this university education is strong. During the studentship they could support each other, thank the teachers, bow down before them, they pointed out the right path in difficult times, and are a model of true scientific character, and we have many duties and responsibilities to the university.

At the end of the meeting, the alumni expressed their best wishes to the rector Takir Balykbaev, who initiated radical updates and significant changes in the university, thanked the pro-rector, Maktagali Bektemesov, the teachers who organized this good deed and did their best to improve the university, wished to increase the number of creative students who will bring new achievements, contribute to the prosperity of our Independent Motherland, and that our university is always one of the best, wished the country a good peaceful th life».

After warm greetings, the first vice-rector, Maktagali Bektemesov, presented memorable gifts to our graduates.
