The Eurasian forum on the quality of education was held in Astana

20 - 21 September in Astana hosted the first Eurasian forum dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.

The vice-minister of education and science Askhat Aimagambetov, as well as foreign experts took part in the forum: the expert on the quality of education of the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany Peter Pister and the expert of the accreditation agency for the Netherlands and Flanders Vera Michel. The rector of KazNPU named after Abai Takir Balykbayev delivered a report on the quality assurance system in higher education.

The forum also announced the results of the jubilee 10th national rating of universities in Kazakhstan. According to this rating KazNPU named after Abai took 1st place in three prestigious nominations: «The best pedagogical universities of Kazakhstan in 2018», «Leader in reputational evaluation of employers» and «Leader in reputation assessment of experts».
