Pilot program of dual training in pedagogical direction

Abai University project members within the framework of KazDual project - «Implementing Dual System in Kazakhstan» (project #: EU 618835-EPP-1-2020-1-KZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, project duration: 15.01.2021-14.01.2024) under the Erasmus+ program launches a pilot program of dual training at Abai University and continues the series of trainings «Dual program implementation» for teachers, undergraduates, graduate students and partners-employers. The trainings will take place on September 14,15,16, 2022.

On September, 14th at 09:00, room 12, building of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology (IPP) at 31, Tole bi street, the project members will meet with a pilot group of dual learning - 1st year students of the EP 6B01303-Basic Education with ICT. There will be an introductory training on dual training.

On September, 15th at 11:00, in the Conference hall- 202, the main building of Abai University at 13, Dostyk ave., will be held the training for teachers of all university institutes. The participants of the project will share their experience in the innovation of the organization of dual education. The topics will be offered:
- Implementation of the KAZDUAL project «Implementing Dual System in Kazakhstan»;
- Flexible Model of dual higher and professional education. Conceptual and legal base of dual education in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Study of employers` attitudes to the implementation of dual system of education;
- Curriculum development of. Methods of curriculum development;
- Pedagogical approaches to the motivation of students to active learning activities.

On September 16th at 11:00, in the room 15, in the building of IPP there will be a Round table on implementing dual system in Kazakhstan: the best practices, innovations and prospects for stakeholders: employers, teachers, undergraduates and graduate students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
