«Karttaryn кardirlegen el ardakty»

On 29 October, 2018, in the framework of the Day of Older Persons, in order to take care of the front veterans and home front workers, educating the youth in the spirit of respect for their heroic deed, a festive event, «Karttaryn лadirlegen el аrdakty», was held.

The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the first vice-rector of the university of Maktagali Bektemesov.

During the event, 49 veterans were awarded with a badge in honor of the 90th anniversary of the university, including 3 veterans of the Great Patriotic War, 43 veterans of the rear and the labor front, 3 Afghan soldiers. Veterans shared their memories of life and expressed warm wishes.

A concert program was organized with the participation of the creative teams of the university. In turn, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Abdrakhman Sharipovich Ishmukhamedov expressed his gratitude and wished the university staff success in their work, unity and prosperity of the country. All veterans were presented with gifts.
