International online webinar «Abaidi alem tanidy»

In pursuance of the Action Plan of Abai KazNPU for the implementation of the program «Rouhani zhanguyru», Department of Philological specialties for foreign citizens of the faculty for foreign citizens and pre-university training (Foundation), together with the Department of International Cooperation of Abai KazNPU, on March 6, 2019, held an international online webinar «Abaidi alem tanidy». This format of an international webinar with simultaneous coverage of six universities from different countries at our university was implemented for the first time.

Representatives of Moscow State Pedagogical University (Russia), Binali Yıldırım University of Erzindzhan (Turkey), Yuexiu Zhejiang Institute of Foreign Languages (China), Ho Chi Minh State Pedagogical University (Vietnam), Baku State University (Azerbaijan), Nazarbayev Intellectual School of CBD of Almaty. The head of the department of philological specialties for foreign citizens of Abai KazNPU, doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor Begaliyeva Saule Bayazovna noted that the goal of the webinar is to understand the global significance of the personality of Abai Kunanbayev and to identify prospects for joint cooperation with the participants of the webinar.

Opening the event, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAS of RK, Kulsariyeva Aktolkyn Turlukanovna spoke about the importance of Abai`s personality for Kazakh culture and history, and noted that studying the spiritual heritage of the great enlightener is of great importance for Kazakh culture and history not only for modern Kazakhstan, but also for other countries.

Vice-rector for educational and methodical work of the MSPU, head of the Russian literature department of the XX-XXI centuries, doctor of philological sciences, professor Trubina Lyudmila Aleksandrovna paid special attention to the issues of the Abai heritage in the context of world literature, the opening of the Abai Center at MSPU and the desire to continue close cooperation with our university.

Dean of the Russian language faculty of Ho Chi Minh State Pedagogical University (Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh) also spoke about the high role of Abai and the prospects for joint cooperation, Nguyen Thi Hang, specialist of the International Cooperation Office of Binali Yıldırım University of Erzincan (Turkey, Erzincan), Head of the Center Abay in Baku Dursunov F. (Azerbaijan), teachers and students of the 11th grade NIS of CBD.

As part of the webinar, an exhibition of works of Abai of KazNPU scientific library was presented.

Foreign students of the faculty for foreigners recited passages from the poems of Abai and the famous «Words of edification» in Kazakh, Russian, Chinese, Korean, English, French, sang the song of Abay «Kozimnіn Karasy».

Following the results of the webinar, its organizers and guests agreed that this exchange of experience is important and relevant, and expressed hope to continue further fruitful cooperation.
