Spiritual modernization - new horizons of education
On April 10, 2019, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University there was held a scientific-practical conference on the theme «Spiritual modernization - new horizons in the field of education», organized by the Institute of History and Law, Department of «World History».
The purpose of this conference was the exchange of experience and views on the use of the updated educational program in the educational process between the faculty of universities and the best teachers in the city of Almaty.They discussed technologies for effective management of the education system, issues of improving the quality of results-based education, and ways to solve them.
Vice-Rector of Abai KazNPU for Research and International Cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva took part in the conference and noted that spiritual modernization is the driving force for changing the traditions and outlook of Kazakhstan, as well as the need to pay attention to preserving our values and educating the younger generation as capable and conscious personalities.
The scientific and practical conference was attended by a professor of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi K. Kunapin, an associate professor at the Central Asian University M.A. Khamitova, Head of the Department of History and Social Sciences of the Almaty Medical College, Professor A. Daliyeva and teachers of the schools, school № 12 named after Shokan Ualihanov, gymnasium №62 named after S. Smakhanov, lyceum school № 143 named after Suyunbai, secondary school № 145 named after al-Farabi, school lyceum № 146, secondary school № 181, specialized lyceum № 37 named M. Gandhi, secondary school number 157 in Almaty, directors and teachers of secondary school number 2 of the village of Kokozek, Almaty region. They discussed current issues in the field of education.
As part of the sectional work, a competition of the scientific project «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe» was held.More than 25 school students and college students took part in the competition and won prizes I, II, III places.
